12 DEMAND FOR MONEY
(спрос на деньги) Признание существования стабильного спроса на деньги легло в основу теории монетаризма (Monetarism). Если исходить из этого предположения, можно показать, что фискальная/бюджетная политика (fiscalpolicy) является нейтральной, т.е., когда государственные расходы подталкивают процентные ставки к росту, объем инвестиций в частном секторе соответственно падает. Более того, изменения в предложении денег являются необходимым и достаточным условием изменений номинальной стоимости валового внутреннего продукта (gross domestic product) или изменений темпов инфляции. Однако в ходе эконометрических исследований не удалось достоверно установить, является ли в действительности спрос на деньги стабильным. -
